The Rear Sliding Passenger Side Door Lock Is Stuck And The Door Will Not Open.

I have a problem with the rear passenger power sliding door lock.  It is stuck in the locked position and I can not get it to release.  Have there been any recalls for this?  What can I do to get it to release?
