What Do I Do When I Installed A Stereo System And All The Gauges Read Zero

i had recently installed a ouku touchscreen stereo system into my 2002 pontiac sunfire 2.2L and after installing i started my car and while the stereo system was on all my gauge lights came on such as theft system, engine, trac off ,etc... and all the gauge arms all went down to read zero including the temp, rpms, mph, gas gauge, etc.... but then again while the ouku stereo is turned off the gauges work fine......I'm just wanting to know am i going to have to get a seperate battery just to use my stereo with out causing damage to my battery or altenator?? or is there any other way to fix this problem???   im kinda new at all this electronical stuff and i just want to not have problems with how my car runs or operates properly while i use the ouku touchscreen stereo system??
