Starter

The location of the starter for my 2000 Pontiac bonneville... When I go to start I just get a ticking sound and the battery is charged so I believe it's the starter I'm just not sure where its locate.

Hi there. I believe most late model Bonnevilles use a 3.8L engine. Thestartershould be next to the engine oil pan on the forward (LH side, facing radiator) extending slightly into the transaxle. It has two mounting bolts.
Some of the newer Bonnevilles have the Northstar engine. On a Northstar engine, thestarteris located under the intake manifold. To accessstarter, remove hose clamp and pop the intake manifold out.
