1st you have to turn on your bluetooth device on your Android smartphone, just go to <Settings>, <Wireless and Networks>, and then <Bluetooth Settings>.

You can turn on your bluetooth device on your Android smartphone. After that, your phone will search for other bluetooth devices available. You have to get your bluetooth headset into pairing mode. This may vary from headset to headset, but usually can be done by holding the answer/end call button down while turning the headset on, you can always see the instructions that come with your bluetooth headset to be sure on how to do it.

After that, your phone should find the bluetooth headset. Go ahead and click your bluetooth headset on your Android smartphone under "bluetooth devices". Then, usually you will be asked for a "pairing code". The pairing code is usually 1234 or 0000.

You can see your bluetooth headset instructions to make sure about this. Yet, some bluetooth headsets even won’t ask you for the "pairing code" that will of courese make the pairing process a bit easier.
