Cannot Pair With Different/new Phone

Following the M100 instructions on pairing with a new/different Androd phone (HTC One), with power on, even when pressing and holding down the Call button, the LED does not flash blue/red (it stays off) and therefore I'm unable to get it to pair with the phone. Is there some way to fix the problem such as resetting the firmware or other means? Thanks, Charles Lo
