Hearing Static And Breathing Sound From The Mic.

I use this headphone on computer games. Whenever I set on Game Sound (Right Side), I hear static and if I tap on the mic or breath on it, I can hear myself. If I mute my mic and they are gone.I have many other mics, and only the ones that is with this headphone are doing the static sound. I'm not using stereo or any other mic in my Sound setup.

Sidetone, the ability to hear your own voice while wearing a headset, can be a very beneficial feature. One advantage is that it prevents you from speaking loudly. When your ears are covered by a headset, you don't get the natural feedback of hearing your own voice. Without sidetone, some people have the tendency to raise their voices unnecessarily while wearing a headset. And for other people, a lack of sidetone during an extended conversation will cause fatigue.

While sidetone is not adjustable on the RIG system, there are ways to manage it. If the voice feedback seems too loud, position the mic farther from your mouth or speak more softly. The highly sensitive and noise cancelling mic on RIG will pick up your voice clearly. You can also use the audio settings in your control panel to turn down the sensitivity of the microphone. Lastly, if you're not chatting or using the microphone, pressing mute on the RIG mixer will eliminate the feedback from the mic"
