Too Much Postage On Letter

I am mailing newsletters for .44 and was putting postage on and somehow the postage machine had switched to $2.07 per envelope!  I had not moved the machine or changed anythng on there.  I have about 40 that should be stamped .44 and they have 2.07 postage on there. My question is...how can I correct this and not pay 82.80 for sending out mail that should only cost $17.60! Thank you
