The Pioneer TZ-F700 speakers have a nominal impedance of 8 ohms, but their impedance can dip below 6 ohms at certain frequencies. This means that they can present a more difficult load to your amplifier than some other speakers.

If you are unsure of the capabilities of your amplifier, it is generally best to err on the side of caution and set the impedance selector to "less than 8 ohms". This will help to protect your amplifier from being overloaded.

However, if you know that your amplifier can handle a 4 ohm load, you can try setting the impedance selector to "more than 8 ohms". This may result in slightly better sound quality, but it is important to make sure that your amplifier is not overloaded.

You can experiment with both settings to see which one sounds best to you. Just be careful not to push your amplifier too hard, especially if you are playing music at high volumes.

Here are some additional tips for choosing the correct impedance selector setting for your speakers:

If you are using a single pair of speakers, it is generally best to set the impedance selector to match the nominal impedance of your speakers.

If you are using multiple pairs of speakers in parallel, the total impedance of the system will be lower than the nominal impedance of any individual speaker. In this case, you should set the impedance selector to match the total impedance of the system.

If you are using a subwoofer, the impedance of the subwoofer should not be included in the total impedance of the system when choosing the impedance selector setting. Subwoofers are typically connected to a separate amplifier channel, and they usually have their own impedance selector setting.

If you are still unsure of how to set the impedance selector on your stereo, it is always best to consult the owner's manual for your amplifier and speakers.
