Ts-w308d2 Pioneer Wiring

I remooved my 2 x 12" 1000w sonny explode subs and fitted 2 x 12" TS-W308D2 Pioneer and I don´t get the base i used to get with the explodes, it is a weak base. there are 4 connections in 1 sub, 2+ and 2- 4ohms, I connected 2 of them and let 2 free. is the wiring correct? or should I connect the 2+ and the 2- in paralel.
