Sound Quits

Hi,We have a 2.5 year old rv that we bought new with a AVH-X1600DVD. Shortly after we got it the sound would intermittently go away. Sometimes just for a few minutes, sometimes for a day or two and occasionally longer than that.Because it was so random the dealer couldn't find a problem. Now that it is out of warranty, the sound has totally failed. The back-up camera & both turn cameras work fine. All of the different radio frequencies will show on the screen, and when you insert a CD it shows as well, but no sound on anything.I hope you have a answer, I'm at my wits end.Thank you,Ray Morgan

Check the cable connections. Loose connections can cause this problem. Or consider replacing a suspect cable. Good luck!
