Tv Not Responding

Perform a power reset. Unplug the TV from the power outlet for one minute, then plug it back in and turn it on.

Perform an IR test. This will tell you if the remote is sending a signal to the TV. To do this, point the remote at your phone's camera and press a button. If you see a faint light in the camera's viewfinder, then the remote is sending a signal. If you don't see a light, then the batteries are probably dead or the remote is defective.

Pair the remote with the TV. If the remote is not paired with the TV, it will not work. To pair the remote, follow the instructions in the TV's manual.

Replace the remote. If you have tried all of the above and the remote is still not working, then you may need to replace it.

Make sure that the remote is programmed to your TV. To do this, follow the instructions in the remote's manual.

Replace the batteries in the remote.

Perform a power reset on the TV.

Reset the remote to factory settings. To do this, hold down the MUTE and POWER buttons on the remote for 10 seconds.

Make sure that there are no obstacles between the remote and the TV.

Try pointing the remote directly at the TV's IR sensor.

If you are using a universal remote, make sure that it is compatible with your TV.
