To get the Philips NTRX500 out of standby mode, follow these steps:

1. Check that the power cable is properly connected to the wall outlet and to the back of the unit.

2. Press the Power On/Off button on the top of the unit. If the unit is in Standby mode, the button will be lit in red.

3. If pressing the Power On/Off button doesn't work, try pressing the Source key on the remote control. This may wake up the unit and bring it out of Standby mode.

4. If none of the above steps work, try unplugging the unit from the power outlet for a few minutes, then plugging it back in. This can often reset the unit and bring it out of Standby mode.

If none of these steps work, you may need to contact Philips support for further assistance.
