Needle Hits Bobbincase

Hi, I was sewing an overcast stitch and all of a sudden my needle kept hitting the bobbin case. I never changed it and also wouldnt know how to. The curious thing is that the needle only hits it one out of two stitches and only when I sew forward. When I sew backwards using the hand nob, it ends up being perfectly fine. How can I fix this?

Why does my needle hit the bobbin?The needle is not fitted properly in your machine. 2. The needle clamp screw is loose. Firmly tighten the needle set screw.

How do you stop a needle from hitting a bobbin case?If you are using a much larger needle the needle bar would need to be adjusted.

Turn your machine off.

Raise the needle to the top position.

Slide the needle plate cover release to the front of the machine and remove the needle plate cover. ...

Remove the bobbin case.
