Contacting Pay Pal By E.mail.

Having signed into my account the site will not allow me to contact pay pal by e.mail or phone,but am informed by a friend this can be performed on their pc.Any idea why I cannot do this on mine,is it possible that something is corrupting this?

First of all, what does "mine" mean? What kind of device are you using? And what do you mean by "won't allow you?" What kind of error message are you getting ... exactly what happens? It is not a "corruption" issue, you're probably just looking in the wrong place, but I can't help until I know what you're using and what's happening.

Are you logging into paypal.com and not a link in an email? I know that there is a phishing email that appears to be paypal and I called paypal and they said the way to identify if it is a phishing email is that it will not have your name addressed in the email. I was told never to connect to paypal through an email link, go directly to paypal.com.

If you are on a mac, if you click on an e-mail link it will try to automatically send an e-mail through the built in e-mail from apple. What you need to do is copy paste the e-mail into a new message in your e-mail program so you can then e-mail them. It shouldn't be a virus that is preventing it, your system is probably just trying to process it through the automatic e-mail.
