Diy - Replacing The Lithium Clock Battery

I have an older model, still works fine but digital clock only works when unit is plugged in. Can I replace the battery myself without ruining/damaging the unit ?

Hi. Page 33 of the User Guide reads: Regular replacement of lithium battery is not required. Consult your nearest sales outlet or repair center for replacing of lithium battery.
