Panasonic Pt-52lcx16 Power Up Problem

When I turn on my HDTV I only see HDM1 in the upper left hand corner of the screen. A bad output on my converter box? The RF output works OK on a regular TV set. Also, I don't think I hear as much fan noise as I used to when the set was coming on and running. A bad lamp?? Any help would be appreciated.

this TV is working, but it's on the digital input HDMI1, and since you have no signal to this input the TV appears dead. ou must change the input to TV/Tuner to see the RF input signals by pressing the [input] button on the remote.
