According to the product specifications provided by Cnet.com, Panasonic CF-29 has a chipset of Intel 855GM. This chipset is only compatible with Intel Celeron M and Intel Pentium M processors. This means that you cannot upgrade your Pentium M to Core Duo processor. Please see the list of compatible processors here:
