Smart Meter Removal

My meter is next to my neighbor's house and she objects to the smart meter.  She asked me to have it removed.  Can you let me know what can be done? Thank you.

If you live in CA, arguments are currently being heard at the California Public Utilities Commission about allowing communities to opt out. This might result in local groups getting more control over their radiofrequency exposure. Right now you have no obligation to acquiesce to her desire

In our area, neighbors who care about their neighbors have agreed to opt out if fees are shared. Smart meters really do nothing except invade the privacy of the customer and lead to possible health problems.
