Brush Removal On Oreck Orbiter

It seems as though I'm not strong enough to pull the brush attachment off my Orbiter, and I'm not a weakling. Am I doing something wrong? Are there any tips and tricks to this? Thank you.

I appreciate your answer, but the brush can not be pulled off. It seems to be stuck on there very tightly. I'm hoping someone can tell me if there's anything else I can try. Thank you.

off the round holder pan.
