Moving A Bench Seat In A 2002 Oldsmobile Silhouette

is there a way to move the rear bench seat in the olds silhouette into the spot where the captian chairs are? I have a newborn baby and want to install the carseat in the middle of the bench seat but dont want the baby to be all the way in the back of the van?
