Won't Start

I have a 1998 oldsmobile 88 and the hymonic balancier went bad now it wont start at all

If you replaced the bad harmonic balancer, then the problem could be your crankshaft position sensor. Did you accidentally unplug it when you replaced the balancer? If not, then the problem could be a bad sensor. I would replace the crank position sensor and then try to start the car.
