Do I Need To Drop The Tank When I Change The Fuel Pump On My 97 Olds 88

Unfortunately, you will have to drop the tank to change the fuel pump. Some cars have a fuel pump access panel under the rear seat or in the trunk, but I don't think your car has that feature. Can't hurt to look, but I doubt if there is one for your specific vehicle.
