Why Would The Air Blower Run After The Car Has Shut Off?

My daughter's 1996 Olds Aurora still blows air after she has shut the car off.  What would cause this?  Is it some relay switch malfunctioning?  Or some other electrical problem?  To get around it temporarily, it has been suggested she pull the heater blower fuse (to avoid wearing the battery down)..

I assume you mean the internal air conditioner, not the motor fan.

Sounds like a short in the steering column, probaly the ignition key.  I would gtet a service tech to look at it before she winds up with a dead battery or even possibly a fire.

Until then yes, I would pull out the fuse.
