1996 Oldsmobile 88 3.8 Engine Tranny Issue Only After Engine Work Was Done

replaced head gaskets now tranny wont shift up or done engine light on with a torque converter and shift solinoid dtc in third gear mabey engine runs great lots of power but wot drive nice because of the tranny but dont remember being anywere near the tranny
