My Driver's Door Will Not Open. Was There A Recall By Gm For This Problem?

My driver's door will not open. When I use the key FOB, unlock button or put the key in the lock I can hear the solenoid activate but the door will not open. Obviously some thing mechanical inside the door has failed. Either a clip on the linkage has fallen off or something is worn out.
