94 Olds 88 Won't Start
All of a sudden my 94 Olds 88 will turn over but not start. I get spark and get battery at the power connection to the injectors. I measured low fuel pressure (22psi) with a quick a quick drop (10psi in one minute) and replaced the fuel pressure regulator. When I connect a test light from BAT to the sink terminal of the injector connector I get no flashing while turning the engine over. (This was with a rube goldberg not a true injector test light and might not be accurate...) The ECM is less than two years old.
There is no visible sign of fuel on the spark plugs after extensive cranking. When I spray starter fluid in the intake I can get a brief and weak attempt to run.
I'm guessing if the crank sensor is bad I would not get spark. Is this true? Is there any other control item that if broken would prohibit the injector from pulsing? Any other ideas?
