Car Wont Start. It Says Clean The Key Still Wont Start
We have replaced the key lock switch and the key it still wont crank is there something that needs to be reset or any other reason why this car wont crank?

possible answers: 1. bad connection at battery. This is a older car, so pull the termals off the battery. Did the termals come off hard or easy? Terminals that come off easy may be arking when starting. or sometimes the terminals themselves need replacing. 2. bad battery. 3. bad wire connection at terminals. 4. bad ground. 5. bad starter; -you may want to pull the starter and have it checked if there is current going to the starter when you have the key in the start position. 6. bad oil pressure guage sensor. -some models tie the oil pressure switch to the fuel pump. If the sensor is bad, then in some models the fuel pump will not be activated. 7. bad starter relay. go to utube for testing proceedure. 8. bad fuel pump 9. bad ignition set.
