First of all(very important) disconnect the battery. Then take the tension off the Serpentine belt and remove it-pay close attention to the way it is routed around the pulleys. Next, remove the alternator and lay it to the side( not necessary to remove the wires). Look at the front of the heater housing, you will find a template marked on the front of it. Using a utility knife, cut along the line and remove a portion of the housing. Disconnect the power wires from the blower motor, undo the five lag bolts and gently pull the blower motor out. Very simple once you figure out that you have to cut out the template on the front of the housing. ( I was not looking forward to the job, until I noticed the cut line, then it was a snap--took about 30 minutes start to finish.). Hope this helps.
