Upper Body Strengthening?

Is it ok to push/pull the handles to improve upper body strength while exercising on the Nordic Trac E 6.7?

This unit is specifically designed to tone both your arms and legs. The recommended amount of force you put on the handles should be equal to the force you are using on your legs for maximum benefits from the machine. Go to a higer resistance if you would like a challenge.

Yes, but the upper push-pull will lessen the load on the legs.
