Rear Dvd Player Without Remote

I just purchased a 2012 nissan quest that is equipped with the rear entertainment center, however it didnt come with the remote to control the flip down dvd player. Is there any way to operate the rear system without the remote or will a programmable remote of some sort work in place of the factory remote?
