2008 Pathfinder - Swapped Out The Tailgate With 2012

I own a 2008 pathfinder LE - swapped out the tailgate with a 2012 version - everything works except the trunk release and camera - the wiring on the right side that doesn't match up. 2008 has two-wire - (a ground and a Green) the tailgate has three wires (black, white, and ground) - the other wiring set of 5 seem to match up ok. Clearly, I'm not getting power to the trunk release. and the backup camera isn't working Thoughts?

Why did my backup camera stop working?

It's likely caused by dirt on the camera's lens, as reverse cameras stay near the ground and can easily make contact with dust, rainwater, or mud. If the camera feed itself appears normal, not lagging or with any signal issues, but it's simply hard to see, it's pretty likely that cleaning the lens is all you need.

How do I reset my rear view camera?
