1991 Nissan Truck Car Lighter Fire Problem
I have a 1991 nissan pickup truck and cad lighter power outlet and wiring started on fire while driving down the road. I had no choice but to yank out of dash to stop further smoke build up. Next day fuse box by drivers side feet area is partially melted! Truck wont run what do i do where do i start for troubleshooting?

You had a short circuit somewhere in the lighter circuit. You need to check for blown fuses. Cap off the lighter wiring so they are insulated from each other & any conductive surface. Check your battery it could have completely discharged.
