I Have A Nikon Coolpix S8200 My New Battery Is Taking 24 Hours To Charge
My camera won't turn on with the new battery does it take 24 hours to charge

No, I wouldn't think so. Pull the battery & see if your charger will power your camera. If not are you sure the charger is working. If so make sure you reinsert the battery correctly & try again. I wish you the best.
