Netgear Mbrn 3000 / Unable To Connect To Network

bought a netgear mbrn 3000. connected optus huwaei E1762 which work fine when i plug it straight into computer. connected the router to the computer. login over safari into the router. n started the setup guide. mask appeared where i hve chosen country( australia) and provider ( Optus) . But then on the next mask its says "Unable to Connect to Network " AND THEN "The problem could be one of the following Possible Incorrect Configuration Setting. Check the APN, User Name and Password of Broadband Settings you entered for your Internet service. " I upgraded already the firmware and I checked the usb modem and setting. Dont need/ hve a user name or password. The setting for APN is set Static and APN is" connectcap" for the optus plan i use normaly. The APS is set to CHAD. coundt find any usefull topic in the net or homepage. please help before i get mad with this. cheers
