Instructions
  1. Blu-ray Disc
    • 1

Connect the composite or HDMI cable to the television set from the Blu-ray player. If it allows for wireless connection, the manufacturer indicates this in the manual. If you're watching Blu-ray Discs sent in the mail, place the disc into the Blu-ray player and press play to watch your movie.

    • 2

Turn on the Blu-ray player and television to connect the Blu-ray player to the Internet to watch streaming video.

    • 3

Plug in an Ethernet cable, or follow the on-screen instructions for your particular Blu-ray player to connect it wirelessly to the Internet. Once you locate your home network and enter the password, you should be connected with access to activate Netflix.

    Streaming Internet Video
    • 4

Locate Netflix on the home screen of a compatible Blu-ray device that is connected to the Internet. Select it and note the activation code provided.

    • 5

Open the Netflix Web page on your computer and enter the activation code into your account. Register for an account if you don't yet have one.

    • 6

Allow a minute for recognition of the code on your television. Once the device is active, the Blu-ray player is ready to select and watch streaming video.
