When you watch a movie on netflix the movie isnt actually stored locally on your ipad or computer(or leading game console or other devices).  It is streamed live via your devices internet access

Netflix doesn't work that way. It streams. When you're done watching it, it isn't on your device anymore, but you can watch it again by putting it back in your queue.
