Changing Email Address

So, my email address got hacked & had to be shut down. I tried updating my email on the Netflix website, but I keep getting an error message: A problem was encountered while attempting to update your account. Any ideas about how to fix it? I tried calling, but after a 10 minute wait (even with the special code that's supposed to make the wait faster), I gave up. Thank you!

The only way to fix this is to call. Try a different number: 1-866-716-0414.

Choose your account. A link near the top of the page gives you the option of changing your account options. This is where you change your Netflix preferences

Select the item of your choice. From the account screen, you can change your shipping address, set up profiles, and change payment options, passwords and membership plans. You can also view your billing and rental history to see what movies you've already rented

Change your account preferences. Toward the bottom of the screen is where you change your Netflix preferences. First you have the option to change your format preferences. This is where you go to change to HD discs or Blu-ray format. You also have the option to add or remove newsletter subscriptions, or enable the extra movie information and a drag-and-drop queue
