The App For Netflix , Will Not Work With My 3gs I Phone.

The Netflix web site will work with my 3 gs I phone but is very slow . ? Any idea why . My phone is two months old .

You could be experiencing one of several problems.

1. First, you may have a trojan or other virus slowing your system down. Clear your cache and cookies and run a virus check on the phone to eliminate this possible issue.

2. If that is not the problem, you may not have enough hard drive memory to support the large files with the Netflix program. Go to your Tools or System Settings and run a system check to look at your system capcity. You may need to delete old photos and apps you are not using.

3. Try clearing your cache and cookies. You should include this in your regular maintenace. It helps speed up any computer device.

It doesn't have anything to do with the age of your phone. Bandwidth and what you are currently running will always determine your calibre of streaming video. If you keep getting disturbed by buffering and frequent film stops then your bandwidth is very slow and the Netflix app doesn’t help all that much in that area. Even if you have a 3G connection (which is always so much superior in quality), the streams will still have some brief pauses. It’s really a mediocre application if you want to watch short television shows. If your connection is using WiFi, then your calibre of video will probably be a lot superior than the 3G.
