can i get netflix through my satalite co.dvr without an hd tv ?

The only DVR I know of that has netflix is Tivo. (Which is soon to be compatible with satellite!) You can hook up a streaming box or a blu ray player to get netflix on a non HD tv. The basic Roku box (non HD) is around 60 bucks.

That depends on which kind of DVR you have ... you didn't say.
