How would you compare Myspace and Facebook?

I know users of both Myspace and Facebook are passionate, but what are the best reasons to use or to avoid Myspace and Facebook compared to one another?

I gave up myspace entirely about a year ago and haven't missed it at all. Sure, it's great that it's customizable but that gets old fast when you're looking at other friends' profiles and you can't even concentrate on what you're reading because their background is flashing like crazy.Facebook is more mature but at the same time still offers many things to keep teens/adults entertained.Also, the ads on facebook are not as annoying and in your face as they are on MySpace.

OMG I love MySpace. I made a Facebook account but it's just not the same. I like all the options MySpace has to offer. I can make up my own profile page, set up the status to only see what I'm interested in, the new karaoke thing is cool too. The time I did have trouble with my layout the support staff was quick to resolve.
