California Identification

do i need a california state i.d.or drivers liscence to shiw proof of who i am when recieving money sent to me even though i have the confirmation number and passcode etc...would i be able to recieve the money i got even without an i.d.or is is absolutely reuired?

When receiving a MoneyGram transaction, it is required to present a valid government-issued photo ID. The photo ID does not have to be issued in the state the transaction is being received in (i.e. if receiving in CA,US, customer is not require to present an ID issued in CA,US).

If the receiver does not have a valid photo ID, the sender may include a Test Question and Answer on the transaction at the time of send. The TQ&A will override the need for the photo ID to be presented, given that the receiver is able to correctly answer the Test Question. However, the TQ&A can only be included on the transactions under $899.99 and cannot be used on the transactions being sent to AZ,US.
