The number of possible errors and reasons to stop an install are almost limitless.
In "theory" it should just install. You'll need to enter the product key number during the install, and then activate once it's done. The key number must match the version of Windows you are installing or it will not install. If the PC doesn't meet the minumum hardware requirements it wont install. If the install media is bad it wont install, if there are issues with the hard disk it wont install.
You'll need to leave us very explicit details about exactly what you are seeing, any error messages, codes, etc. before we can try to assist you.
If you've never done this before you might save yourself some time and grief by getting a local PC tech to help you.
