Sorry for your problems. These ridiculous rejections of valid email addresses and passwords have recently become common. I've found that entering the information by hand (rather than using the system clipboard or a password manager to enter it) will often solve, as my your using the Forgot Password option. It's also possible that your Internet Service Provider may give you a solution. In the worst case you may have to use a different email address: Gmail will let you receive its mail at your charter.net mailbox.
