Annoying Chirping Sound From Interior Of The Car.
There is a double chirping sound that occurs every 60 seconds in the interior roof area. It reminds me of the beep-beep sound that a homeowners smoke alarm gives off when the battery needs to be replaced. It is annoying and leads me to think it is warning me of a pending malfunction. Any ideas? Could it relate to the garage door opener unit set in the eye shade panel? Does this unit have a battery? If so, how do I replace the battery?

Ford products have interior electrical components that stay energized after the car is shut off, and are shut down when the door is opened to exit the vehicle. They designed it as a courtesy, the main one being the radio/sound system; you can stop for a moment, shut off the motor, and listen to the radio As long as you don't open the door. Some of those, possibly an under dash one, can sound as if they are coming from the motor.
