Shifter Stuck In Park And No Sound When Turn Key In Ignition
Started car just fine after sat all winter. Ran short time then parked it. Started again fine few days later. Then that time right after parking it, had to move it again but now turn key and no noise. Stopped to make sure I was fully in park--depressed brake, shifted fomr P to N and back to P. Still nothing. No sound at all at ignition. Now few days later tried to start, same thing, then tried to shift into N to move car into position to jump battery with another vehicle. And now shift won't move out of park at all. Depressed brake, depressed button ofn side of shift, but shifter won't move out of park. what's up?
