How To Reset Brake Service Code On Drivers Display

I replaced all pads and new brake sensors using Oem brake pads and sensors. After replacement I still get the display that brake service is required. how do I reset this to clear the displa

To reset the brake service code on a 2007 Mercedes SL-Class, you will need to have the car in park and the engine running. Press the brake pedal for at least 10 seconds, then release it. The service indicator should now be reset.

How do you reset brakes after changing pads?

Simply push a flat blade screwdriver in between the brake pads and twist. This will separate the brake pads and, in turn, push back the pistons to the reset position.

How do you reset the brake light on a Mercedes?

Mercedes-Benz check brake pad warning message resets automatically once you replace the worn brake pads. There is no procedure to carry out to reset the brake pad wear. If you don't replace the worn brake pads, the message won't reset.
