Do I Have To Repair My 2010 Mazda 3 In A Mazda Dealer?

My tire was broken last sunday. I fixed it in a local mechanics. The guy of the local mechanics said that Mazda will pay me back since my car is in factory wanranty? How to report his repairment and get my money back from mazda ?
