Ignition Coil #3 Have To Be Replaced If Oil Leak On The Coil Container.

Does ignition coil #3 have to be replaced if oil leak on the coil container. My oil light kept coming on but we could not find a leak. Now my check engine light comes on and when I had it checked it gave trouble code P0353- Ignition Coil 3 Primary Circuit Malfunction. somewhere online I read to check the coil container because oil could have leaked on it. The repair shop is wanting to replace the coil- I just had all of them replaced less than 24 months ago and just want to know if it would have to be replaced or if there was something else that I could have done.

Yes, the coil sadly must be replaced as inadequate oil must have reduced its life.
