Some possible reasons for this: 1) If there have been any alterations to the tires, wheels or other portions of the "driving" portions of the car, this can produce unreliable readings. These include, but are not limited to, larger or smaller rims, larger or smaller tires, and diffefrent rotors and or brake systems.  2) It could be a problems with a sensor  3) It could be a problem with your main (or master) CPU.  4) Other issue(s) all together.
