We Washed The Engine Of Our 96 Protege Dx And Now It Won;t Start.

Take the spark plugs out one at a time to dry them. Find a cloth that doesnt leave pieces behind, wrap it around a long ahndle screw driver and dry the inside of where the spark plug goes. You can also use a hair dryer the dry the moisture out too. Next you can check the gap on the plug then put it back in or if you bought new ones put a new one in. I would say just to be safe buy all new spark plugs. Also check the wires and see if they are wet. If they look like they need to be replaced then do that too.
This should remedy the problem.
